TIP #1 FIND ANSWERS YOURSELF The most annoying thing for a manager is having an employee who asks how to do things all the time! When you don’t know an answer try your companies guideline documents. At my job, they are called Standard Operating Procedures and are available to everyone. Next, I would try Google, a coworker, then your manager. Only then, you go and ask higher up, don’t make your manager do it unless they tell you they will. Be self-sufficient. This also means asking how you can find that information later or how to complete that task. Your manager will thank you for it and it lets you get your job done faster. TIP #2 USE 365/PHONE CALENDAR If your job has Office 365 then I suggest putting everything on that calendar. You can add reminders, appointments, events, meetings, conferences, patient visits, marketing calls, etc. After entering them I would then add your boss and other co-workers who need to know about the information.
